Job Description

We are seeking a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As part of one of the country's leading LTL carriers, you will play a vital role in transporting cargo to various destinations efficiently and safely.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using industry-standard techniques and procedures.
• Actual duties and schedule may vary based on the terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training available for candidates with less experience).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Good stable work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
