Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN to join Genesis Healthcare's clinical team. Working under the supervision of an RN, you will play a crucial role in managing the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers. Your responsibilities will include conducting Infection Prevention - Control Activities, Outbreak Management, Employee Health oversight, and Outcome - Process Surveillance. Additionally, you will serve as a resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for all staff, focusing on infection identification, investigation, analysis, control, and reporting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN/LVN licensure
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control
• Minimum of three years full-time nursing experience
• At least two years of nursing experience in long-term care with supervisory capacity preferred
• Previous experience in infection prevention and control is advantageous
• Flexibility to work varying shifts to meet employee needs
