Manager in Training

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join Aldi as a Manager in Training. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you to lead your own store successfully. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, ensuring top-notch customer service, managing staffing needs and schedules, and developing operational strategies while supporting and mentoring the team.

Salary

• Starting wage: $27.50 per hour
• Estimated earning potential in Year 1: Up to $105,000

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise team performance and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Implement company strategies and foster a sense of teamwork among employees.
• Manage store signage and product quality.
• Assist in hiring and training staff.
• Develop and revise schedules for optimal staffing.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
• Monitor store budget and profitability.
• Maintain a safe and organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations and management principles.
• Prior retail management experience is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Previous management experience is a plus.
