Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Fort Morgan, CO. As a part of our dedicated team committed to sustainability and nourishing the world, you will be responsible for operating maintenance tools, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring the safety and reliability of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and departmental procedures.
• Maintain process reliability and industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements

• Availability to work 4-day work weeks with 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
