Mobile Trailer Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial semi tractors and trailers.
• Write detailed work orders and handle Mobile Road Calls and In Yard tasks.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi-trucks and trailers.
• Maintain hubs, axles, and replace parts as necessary.
• Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts including tires.
• Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure trailers meet DOT road safety requirements.
• Document inspections, repairs, and report findings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of trailer repair experience and 2+ years of diesel repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift over 100 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for billing purposes.
• Follow oral and written instructions efficiently.
• Reading and writing skills for customer repair orders.

• Class A CDL a plus.
