Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Honolulu, HI. As a City Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining strong customer relationships while utilizing up-to-date technology to efficiently handle cargo transportation.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle pickups and deliveries of cargo to and from various destinations, primarily near the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers using industry-standard techniques and procedures.
- Adapt duties and schedules based on terminal location requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred; training options available for applicants with less experience.
- Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements are mandatory.
- Strong work ethic, stable work record, and safe driving history are essential.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
