ArcBest II ABF Freight is seeking self-motivated and hardworking City Drivers to join our team. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations near our consolidation/distribution center using up-to-date technology. This position is crucial for maintaining strong customer relationships and upholding our exceptional service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload trailers following prescribed techniques and procedures.
- Adhere to the duties and schedule assigned at the terminal location.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred.
- Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements required.
- Stable work history and strong work ethic.
- Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening.
