Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling available resources to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for efficient freight loading/unloading.
• Maintain proper load plans for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback to workers.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and promote safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in service center or transportation is a plus.
• Supervisory experience and general knowledge of freight handling techniques are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with imports, exports, and freight handling techniques.
