Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor I to join our team at ABF Freight in Denver, CO. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the loading/unloading of freight, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality service delivery during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely and safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks to workers and coordinate work schedules.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations to team members.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all personnel and customers.
• Promote safe handling, loading, unloading, and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve department goals.
• Support a culture focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, and wellness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in service center, transportation, or related field.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques and regulations.
