Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team at ABF Freight in Denver, CO. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, safe, and damage-free loading and unloading of freight. This role requires assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and maintaining a positive and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks and monitor performances.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment.
• Support safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a values-driven culture.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in service center or transportation industry preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
