Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

Join ALDI as a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. As a valued member of our team, you'll operate registers, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and deliver exceptional service to our patrons.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.

• Ensure security and confidentiality of store documents and data.

• Perform cashier or stocking duties as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and provide excellent customer service.

• Report product issues and assist in inventory management.

• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves with fresh products, follow merchandising guidelines, operate machinery safely.

• Organize inventory, handle boxes, and maintain a tidy store environment.

Qualifications:

• Age 18 or above with excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.

• Effective verbal communication and teamwork abilities.

• High school diploma preferred, retail experience advantageous.
