Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our collaborative team at Aldi. As a member of our team, you will operate registers, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and provide exceptional customer service. This role offers a dynamic work environment where every day brings new challenges.

Position Type:

Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader
• Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and create well-merchandised displays

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
