Patient Care Tech / PCT Med Surg Cardiology

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Tech (PCT) with a focus on Cardiology Medical Surgical services to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a PCT, you will work closely with nursing and medical staff to deliver exceptional patient care and support. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and other tasks.
• Observe and report patients' progress to the medical team.
• Take and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output, assist with range of motion exercises, and follow unit routines.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school.
• Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
