Patient Care Tech / PCT Orthopedic

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our Orthopedic Unit at Hillcrest Medical Center, located in Tulsa, OK. This position offers the opportunity to work night shifts on a PRN basis. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily activities, collecting vital signs, preparing reports, and providing transport services. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities under the supervision of medical staff.
• Monitor and report patients' progress to the nursing team.
• Collect specimens for lab tests and record vital signs.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping services.
• Record patients' measurements and assist with range of motion exercises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Preferred: Two years of acute or long-term care experience.
• Certification as a CNA, PCT, or paramedic is a plus.
