Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As the National PAE, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing relationships with assigned Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts. You will ensure appropriate market access for the Jazz portfolio of products and collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement market access strategies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Execute market access strategies for Jazz products within assigned Medicaid accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with key individuals within target payers and industry organizations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize reimbursement support services.
• Identify opportunities to provide value to target payers and develop mitigation plans for potential obstacles.
• Educate target payers on Jazz products and associated diseases.
• Lead cross-organizational projects with excellence and integrity.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience with recent success in Account Management focusing on Medicaid.
• Demonstrated proficiency in healthcare, payers, formulary development, and compliance laws.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams and projects effectively.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Education and Experience

• BA/BS Degree required (MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred).
• Experience in rare disease drugs, specialty pharmacy, and contracting preferred.
• Clinical knowledge in areas such as Sleep/Neuroscience or Oncology considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
