Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) - In Person Event 5/13

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ChristianaCare. In this role, you will provide expert medical care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients in the comfort of their homes. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, coordinating care with families and healthcare providers, and building positive relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert care to medically fragile patients.
• Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Build positive relationships with patients and their families.
• Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.

Requirements

• DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care preferred.
• Previous home health or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
• Ability to attend orientation sessions and patient field orientations.
