Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a rewarding opportunity to provide in-home care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in Delaware? Join ChristianaCare's HomeHealth team for our Private Duty Nursing program. As an integral part of the team, you will deliver expert and compassionate care to medically fragile patients, coordinate with families and healthcare providers, administer medications, and build positive relationships with patients and their loved ones.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families, healthcare providers, and doctors.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
- Build positive relationships through compassion and responsiveness.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- Delaware LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office.
- Previous home health and/or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care preferred.
