Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. As a key member of the unit, you will be part of a new alternative care unit at the University of Vermont Medical Center, providing care to long-term patients awaiting placement.

Unit Description

The unit, Shep 3 North, caters to 18-20 patients with diverse diagnoses, resembling a long-term care facility environment. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication and leadership skills to oversee LPNs and LNAs on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to long-term patients.
• Demonstrate strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Oversee LPNs and LNAs on the unit.

Requirements

• RN license in the state of Vermont.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.

Incentives

• $10,000 RN Sign-On Bonus (pro-rated for part-time roles).
