Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. As an RN, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in various states of health and illness by implementing comprehensive nursing plans. This role involves collaborating within nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver direct patient care, provide education, and ensure a smooth transition of care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health conditions and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or willingness to obtain as per offer terms.
- At least one year of nursing experience with Pediatric Infusion and chemo certification.
- Skills in central line access/care and peripheral IV placement.
