Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. You will collaborate with your team members and management to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies.
- Comply with company policies and procedures for security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Aptitude for maintaining cleanliness and following guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Fulfill state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
