Job Description
We are looking for a Specialty Sales Consultant for the Kansas City East region at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. Join us in our mission to innovate and transform the lives of patients with serious diseases through the development of life-changing medicines. As a Specialty Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting our products, building relationships with specialists, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve objectives within our Sleep Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare professionals about Jazz Pharmaceuticals products and their approved indications.
- Achieve sales goals and Key Performance Indicators.
- Organize medical and product information meetings in line with company policies.
- Analyze and understand prescribing processes in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate to educate and influence healthcare professionals on products.
- Prepare and execute business and territory tactical plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Present a positive image of Jazz Pharmaceuticals and ensure compliance with marketing policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Specialist sales experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of product(s), competitor product(s), and applicable disease states.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to excel in a team environment.
- Four-year college/university degree or equivalent required.
- Post-graduate business school study or training preferred.

- Competitive compensation within the range of $112,000-$168,000.
