Job Description
We are seeking a talented Staff Psychologist to join the team at The University of Vermont Health Network. The Staff Psychologist will provide psychological services to patients in various clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, medical-surgical units, emergency departments, outpatient programs, and primary clinics. Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluations, clinical assessments, psychological interventions, staff consultation, program development, and oversight. The ideal candidate will contribute to organizational initiatives, provide clinical consultation, and support patients referred by the Cancer Center and hospital attending physicians.
Education and Experience
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program (or equivalent).
- Valid Psychologist-PhD license. Completion of internship and at least 1-year post-doctoral training.
- Minimum 3 years' post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology, including individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
- Background and training in Psycho-Oncology is highly preferred.
