Stocker/Cashier (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Stocker/Cashier to join the collaborative team at Aldi and enhance the customer shopping experience. As a member of our team, you will operate registers, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and provide exceptional service to customers. This role offers a dynamic environment with new challenges daily.

Part-Time

Average Hours:

Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate information to leaders.
• Uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform cashier duties: process purchases, clean, stock shelves, provide exceptional service, and manage inventory.
• Perform stocker duties: stock shelves, rotate products, create displays, organize inventory, and operate machinery safely.

Physical Demands

Ability to handle physical demands including lifting and moving merchandise.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Effective communication and ability to work in a team.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail experience beneficial.
