Store Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a superior shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) commensurate with the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Assist in inventory management and follow cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Execute general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and in a team environment with attention to detail.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience is acceptable.
