Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include stock management, cashier duties, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members, communicate effectively with management, and uphold ALDI's high standards of performance.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Work in collaboration with colleagues and effectively communicate with the management team.
• Offer feedback on products, manage inventory counts, and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
• Able to operate equipment and follow cleaning standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently and within a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
