Store Management Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Management Trainee to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an estimated 45 hours per week. As a Trainee, you will be involved in supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring top-notch customer service, managing schedules, and developing operational plans while mentoring and leading the team. You will have the opportunity to train and learn all aspects of successfully running a store, preparing you for a Store Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily store operations and team performance.
• Communicate company strategy and values to create a sense of teamwork.
• Manage customer concerns and store signage.
• Participate in hiring and training store personnel.
• Prepare and manage weekly schedules and store budgets.
• Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Oversee product merchandising and maintain stock levels.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.
