Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's smooth operation, from merchandising and stocking products to providing exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and provide feedback to management
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Comply with company procedures, safeguard documents, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience beneficial
