Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Aldi Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct store inventory counts and uphold cash policies
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
• Ability to work independently or in a team, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
