Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the store's appearance. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and collaborating with the team to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Interpretation and application of company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Compliance with state and local requirements regarding alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
