Job Description
Join ALDI as a Store Operations Assistant to be a part of a dynamic team responsible for merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to ensure exceptional customer service and shopping experiences.

$18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store counts.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow established policies, maintain document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds - Sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk - Operate equipment as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- Provide excellent customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register
- Handle equipment safely and proficiently
- Understand and apply company policies and procedures
- Have strong communication skills
- Work independently and in team settings
- Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience desirable
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
