Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Comply with company procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and friendly customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of following cleaning and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• High school diploma preferred with retail experience.
