Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members, communicate effectively with store management, and uphold company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and alert management to issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Capable of operating a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Able to use store equipment safely and appropriately.
- Skilled in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
