Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our operations, you will be involved in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in using a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
