Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a vital member, you will be responsible for various in-store activities including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers effectively
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management
• Support inventory control procedures and monitor accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and minimize losses

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Capable of working independently and within a team
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
