Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and uphold company standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with established company policies, maintain document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash handling skills
• Experience operating equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Knowledge of cleaning standards and company policies
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
• Meet all requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous retail experience (preferred)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
