Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly, from merchandising and stocking products to providing excellent customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and professionalism in all tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Provide feedback on inventory, losses, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory management and uphold cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Skilled in general cleaning tasks and following company guidelines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
