Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers through exceptional service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and ensure security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment
• Follow cleaning standards and company procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
• Prior retail experience preferred
