Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
- Follow established company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to maintain store cleanliness and follow company procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
