Store Operations Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate essential Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe and proper use of equipment
• General cleaning duties as per standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
