Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations by stocking merchandise, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized environment. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate stock monitoring.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Blend of education and experience relevant to the role.
