Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the store's cleanliness, stocking products efficiently, cashiering, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain document security.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Capable of operating equipment such as a hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
