Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Skilled in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Satisfy state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is an advantage.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
