Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a crucial member of the store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Perform cashier duties, stock shelves, and keep merchandise displays organized.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain document security.
• Complete additional assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to perform cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• High school diploma preferred, with prior retail experience as a bonus.
