Job Description

We are hiring Store Team Members to join our ALDI family. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain cash handling procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and ensure data security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
