Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Type

Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
• Equivalent knowledge through education and experience.
