Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and support the overall store operations.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures
• Comply with company policies and security measures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash handling
• Able to operate relevant equipment and follow cleaning standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
• Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
