Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a key part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts, uphold cash policies, and comply with company procedures
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Cash register operation proficiency
• Safe use of equipment like hand jacks and scrubbers
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Educational background and work experience equivalent
