Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member! In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By working collaboratively with your team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers and uphold ALDI's exceptional customer service standards.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Safe operation of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
