VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

We are looking for a Vice President of Late Development Team Lead in the Oncology field to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As the Late Development Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in progressing products from proof of concept to approval, integrating various strategies to enhance value for patients. This position requires superior leadership, collaboration skills, and a strong scientific background.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams in executing product strategies from POC to approval.
• Establish and communicate a vision and strategy for product development.
• Collaborate with functional teams to identify global development opportunities and optimize patient value.
• Participate in long-range planning processes and develop integrated product development plans.
• Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and oversight to team members and functional matrix teams.

Qualifications

• +15 years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
• Demonstrated success in leading late-stage drug development programs.
• Experience in Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance program risks with speed.

Education and Licenses

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
